Article Abstract
Human parechovirus (HPeV) is increasingly being recognized as a potentially severe viral infection in neonates and young infarcts. In young infants, the typical clinical presentation includes fever, severe irritability, and rash, often leading to descriptions of "hot red, angry babies".
